ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการออกกลางคันของนักเรียน เนื่องจากฐานะยากจนในจังหวัดปัตตานี

วัตถุประสงค์ของการศึกษาครั้งนี้เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์การออกกลางคันเนื่องจากฐานะยากจนระหว่างระดับของการศึกษา เพศ ปีการศึกษา และที่ตั้งของโรงเรียนของนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาในจังหวัดปัตตานี โดยใช้ข้อมูลจากสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน ระหว่างปีการศึกษา 2548-2552 ซึ่งเป็นการศึกษาระยะยาว สถิติที่นำมาใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเบื้องต้น คือ Pearson’s chi-squared test เพื่อวิเคราะห์หาความสัมพันธ์ทีละตัวแปรระหว่างการออกกลางคันเพราะฐานะยากจน กับระดับของการศึกษา เพศ ปีการศึกษา และที่ตั้งของโรงเรียน
จำนวนนักเรียนที่ออกกลางคันทั้งหมด 1,341 คน จำแนกเป็น 348 คน (25.95%) ออกกลางคันเพราะฐานะยากจน และ 993 (74.05%) ออกกลางคันด้วยสาเหตุอื่น เมื่อทดสอบด้วย Pearson’s chi-squared พบว่า ระดับการศึกษา ปีการศึกษา และสถานที่ตั้งของโรงเรียน มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติกับการออกกลางคันเพราะฐานะยากจน
