Subject: Temporary Suspension of New Article Submissions

Hatyai Academic Journal would like to announce a temporary closure for new article submissions from August 18 – October 31, 2026, in order to expedite the evaluation of the large volume of manuscripts currently in the system and to maintain academic standards and article quality. Submissions will reopen from November 1, 2026 onwards.

Change in Peer Reviewer Requirements

In compliance with the Civil Service Commission in Higher Education Institutions (OHEC) Notification on Criteria and Procedures for Academic Appointment (No. 3) B.E. 2568 (2025), Hatyai Academic Journal will adjust its peer review requirement to a minimum of two (2) expert reviewers per article, effective August 1, 2027.

Announcement of the New Manuscript Template for Hatyai Academic Journal

Subject: Implementation of the New Manuscript Template

The Hatyai Academic Journal wishes to announce the implementation of a newly revised manuscript template, designed to elevate the journal's publication quality to international standards. The schedule and guidelines are as follows:

1. The new manuscript template will be mandatory for all articles published from January 1, 2027, onwards.
2. Authors submitting manuscripts for peer review must strictly adhere to the new template for layout configuration, effective from July 22, 2026, onwards.

         - Non-member of Hatyai University is 4,000 THB (External authors, students, or graduate students of other institutions.)

Adoption of APA 7th Edition Citation Style

The Hatyai Academic Journal has adopted the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th edition citation style, effective immediately. This change will apply to all manuscripts submitted from July 23, 2025, and will be reflected in articles published from May 2026 onward.

The Hatyai Academic Journal would like to announce a revision to the scope of accepted articles, which will now include the following areas:

1) Business and Management (Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, and Tourism Management,)
2) Social Sciences (Education, Health (social science), and Communication)
3) General Art and Humanities

This change will take effect for all articles submitted to the journal from July 1, 2025 onwards.

Hat Yai Academic Journal hereby announces the Cancellation of fast-track Publication with immediate effect. This decision is undertaken to ensure alignment with the ethical guidelines and code of conduct stipulated for Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI).

Invitation for Manuscript Submissions to be Published in the Hatyai Academic Journal, Vol. 22, No. 2.

Hatyai Academic Journal holds accreditation from TCI Group 1 and is currently open for article submissions intended for publication in the journal's Vol. 22, No. 2, scheduled for release from May to August 2024 onwards. Each submission undergoes a rigorous evaluation process conducted by three reviewers representing diverse institutions with according to Double Blinded.
