Hatyai Academic Journal accepts research and academic articles. To ensure a prompt review process that aligns with our academic standards, authors are kindly requested to review the manuscript preparation guidelines and strictly format their submissions according to the journal's prescribed guidelines. 1. Categories of the published articles
1.1 Research article is a work derived from studying and investigating by the author. It includes

1.2 Academic Article is a work derived from an academic literature review incorporating comparative analysis, with a focus on presenting new academic knowledge. It consists of an introduction and a review of literature relevant to the content (which must clearly highlight the main issue being presented). The structure includes:
1) Abstract must clearly specify the rationale, objectives, scope of content, theories, or core meanings within the article's context. Summarize the overall content of the entire article, or present the author's findings derived from analysis and synthesis—highlighting advantages, disadvantages, or knowledge gaps—along with academic recommendations or directions for further application.

- Use of Artificial Intelligence)

- Include at least 15 references and format the citations according to the guidelines of the Hatyai Academic Journal.

2. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
2.1 Research Article
Manuscripts must not exceed 18 A4 pages (including references). Margins must be set to 3 cm for top and left, and 2.54 cm for bottom and right.
- Thai Manuscripts: Use TH Sarabun New font for both Thai and English text with single line spacing (1.0), as specified in the Thai Research Article Template.
- English Manuscripts: Use Times New Roman font with 1.5 line spacing, as specified in the English Research Article Template.
Research article manuscripts must include the following sections:
1. Title
- Thai Manuscripts: Include titles in both Thai and English (18pt, bold).
- English Manuscripts: 14pt, bold.
2. Author(s)
- Thai Manuscripts: Include author names in both Thai and English (14pt, bold).
- English Manuscripts: 12pt, bold.
3. Affiliation(s)
- Thai Manuscripts: Include affiliations in both Thai and English (14pt, bold italic).
- English Manuscripts: 10pt, bold italic.
4. Abstract: Clearly state research objectives, sample/population, research instruments and quality, statistical methods, findings, and practical benefits. Abstract length must not exceed 300 words per language.
- Thai Manuscripts: Include abstracts in both Thai and English (16pt).
- English Manuscripts: 12pt.
5. Keywords: 3 to 5 keywords, formatted in regular italic, separated by semicolons (;).
- Thai Manuscripts: Include keywords in both Thai and English (16pt).
- English Manuscripts: 12pt, lowercase except for proper nouns.
6. Main Sections: Introduction, Research Objectives, Literature Review, Conceptual Framework, Research Methodology (Population & Sample, Research Instruments, Data Analysis, Research Ethics), Results, Discussion, Recommendations (Practical & Future Research), Author Contributions, Acknowledgments, Disclosures (Funding, Conflicts of Interest, AI Usage), and References.
- Thai Manuscripts: 16pt.
- English Manuscripts: 12pt.
7. Tables and Figures: Include only necessary visual elements with sharp lines and designated numbers, e.g., Figure 1 or Table 1.
- Thai Manuscripts: Figure/Table titles (16pt), table body (14pt).
- English Manuscripts: Figure/Table titles (12pt), table body (10pt).
8. References: Use the American Psychological Association reference system, 7th edition (APA 7th), with general details as follows:
8.1) In-text citations must match the reference list.
8.2) Citations must follow the journal-specified format consistently throughout the manuscript.
8.3) Reference entries must be alphabetized from A to Z in English.
8.4) A minimum of 15 reference entries is required.
8.5) Format all references in English following journal guidelines.
8.6) All references must be traceable; include DOIs or URLs where available per journal guidelines.
8.7) Append [in Thai] to all translated Thai references.
