Publication Workflow

Step 1: Online Submission via ThaiJO system
Authors submit their manuscript and the required submission form through the ThaiJO system.
Step 2: Initial Screening (1–2 weeks)
The editorial team conducts a preliminary assessment focusing on:
- • Similarity index (not exceeding 30%)
- • Language quality and overall manuscript quality
- • Relevance to the journal’s aims and scope
- • Adequacy and reliability of references
- • Compliance with the journal’s citation and reference format
Manuscripts may be:
- • Proceeded to the next stage
- • Returned to authors for preliminary revision (within 1 week)
- • Rejected and not entered into the review process
Step 3: Fee Payment (1 week)
Authors are notified of manuscript acceptance for peer review and requested to pay the publication fee. The submission date is recorded as the official received date.
Step 4: Reviewer Selection (1–3 weeks)
The editorial board appoints three qualified reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript. Reviewers must not be affiliated with the same institution as the author(s).
Step 5: Peer Review (3 weeks)
Manuscripts are evaluated under a double-blind peer review system. Possible decisions include:
- • Accept
- • Accept with revisions
- • Reject
Step 6: Editorial Decision (1 week)
The editor reviews the reviewers’ comments and informs the authors of the decision. In the case of rejection, authors receive the review reports for reference.
Step 7: Author Revision (1 week)
Authors revise the manuscript according to reviewers’ comments and submit a detailed response to each comment.
Step 8: Final Review (3–4 weeks)
The editorial board reviews the revised manuscript for content accuracy, completeness, and language quality. Additional revisions may be requested if necessary.
Step 9: Official Acceptance (3–5 days)
An official acceptance letter is issued once the manuscript meets all publication requirements.
Step 10: Copyediting (4–8 weeks)
The manuscript undergoes formatting, language editing, and proofreading.
Step 11: Final Approval (3–5 days)
Authors review and approve the final version of the manuscript prior to publication.
Step 12: Online Publication
The article is published online according to the journal’s issue schedule.
