          Hatyai Academic Journal (HAJ) operates under the support of Hatyai University, having published academic works since 2003 in print format (ISSN (Print): 1686-1868). Since 2024, the journal has transitioned exclusively to online publication (ISSN (Online): 2651-1614). Throughout this period to the present, the journal welcomes articles from those interested in publishing academic works, both in the form of research articles and academic articles.

Aims and Scope
          Hatyai Academic Journal aims to contribute to the creation and support of high-quality academic works.
          The scope of the accepted articles must be as follows:

          1) Business and Management (Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, and Tourism )
          2) Social Sciences (Education, Health (social science), and Communication)
          3) General Art and Humanities

Citation Style
          The journal uses the APA 7th edition citation style for articles published from Volume 24, Issue 2 (May – August 2026) onwards.

The Schedule of Publication
          The journal publishes three volumes per year:
                    No. 1: January – April
                    No. 2: May – August
                    No. 3: September – December
         The journal publishes 7–11 articles per issue in electronic format, ISSN (Online): 2651-1614, and has been produced since Vol. 16, No. 1 (2018)

Peer Review Policy
         All accepted articles undergo a double-blind peer review by experts from various institutions. The requirements are as follows:

        - Submissions before August 1, 2027: Reviewed by 3 experts.

        - Submissions from August 1, 2027 onwards: Reviewed by at least 2 experts.

Open Access Policy
           Hatyai Academic Journal is an open access journal licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Readers are free to access, download, and share the content for educational purposes at no cost, provided that the work is not modified and proper attribution is given.

Publication Fee (Thai/English Articles)

         - Member of Hatyai University is 3,500 THB (Internal authors and students of Hatyai University, provided that they are designated as the primary author.)
         - Non-member of Hatyai University is 4,000 THB (External authors, students, or graduate students of other institutions.)

          Note:
          - The publication fee is charged only once, after the manuscript has passed the initial quality assessment by the journal’s editorial team, and notification will be provided in writing exclusively through the ThaiJO system.
          - The date of payment of the publication fee is considered the date of receiving the article
          - If the quality assessment results indicate that the manuscript cannot be published, or if the author requests to withdraw the manuscript from the system after the publication fee has been paid, the Hatyai Academic Journal reserves the right not to refund the publication fee under any circumstances.
