Design Guidelines of Horticultural Therapy Garden for Juvenile in Juvenile Observation and Protection Pathum Thani Province

The objective of this study was to study guidelines of garden design for horticultural therapy garden activity for juvenile in Juvenile Observation and Protection Pathum Thani Province. This research procedures included physical area survey and in-depth interviews with a psychologist and staff about the activities and areas with the analysis of theories. Moreover, garden design guidelines were suggested by the planning of the horticultural therapy garden that was related to the number of days such the juvenile entering. The garden is designed to be interesting, not boring, uncomplicated, easy to understand, and has an area under the trees for relaxing. The area must receive enough sunlight for growth of vegetables. The variety of plants were selected to stimulate all 5 senses so that the Horticultural Therapy Garden is a stress releasing area, recharging your body and mind, creating a learning process by doing until it is successful.
