Legal problems relating to control of animal slaughter for the distribution of meat : Case study of logistics system management.

Abstract

          The purpose of this study was the case of logistics management under the control of animal slaughter for the distribution of meat legislation. It was compared with international corporate regulations and foreign law to propose a solution to amend the law. This is qualitative research from the legal documents.

          The results of the study showed that the Control of Animal Slaughter for the Distribution of Meat B.E. 2559 did not contain provisions on the management of the logistics system. But it turns out that it is under the Animal Epidemic Act B.E. 2558 which aims to prevent animal diseases. Therefore, it should be revised the legal measures on the Control of Animal Slaughter for the Distribution of Meat B.E. 2559 to be comparable to international standards to ensure the safety of consumers of clean and hygienic meat.
