Factors affecting corporate engagement of employees of a food product company

Abstract

           This objective of the research were 1) to study demographic factors, job description factors, work experience factors and corporate engagement of employees of a food product company. 2) to study the demographic factors that affects corporate engagement of employees of a food product company. 3) to study job description factors, work experience factors that affecting corporate engagement of employees of a food product company. There are 74 employees. The instrument for collecting the data was questionnaires. The statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, T- test, One- way ANOVA and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis.

           The result showed that the majority of the populations in this study were female, aged between 21 and 30  years, a bachelor degrees, position in packing instant product, salary 15,001 – 30,000 baht and work experience not more than 5 years. The majority opinions about job description factors, work experience factors and corporate engagement in overall were at high level. The results of hypothesis testing shows that demographic factors include different in aging and different in number of experience year were affecting corporate engagement. In addition, the job description factors include that participation in administration (X4), the work experience factors for example the feeling that they are important to the organization (X7), the feeling that organization is reliable (X8) and attitude to colleagues and organizational (X10) affecting corporate engagement with statistical significance level  at 0.05. The variables can predict the efficiency of operation at 75.4%.The equation: Y = 0.450 + 0.310 (X4) + 0.203 (X7) + 0.288 (X8) + 0.489 (X10)
