Abstract

          The continuing global pandemic of Coronavirus disease 2019 has heavily affected the aviation industry especially the airline business, resulting from the measures and restrictions on both domestic and international travels or the increase in consumer’s travel demands. The prediction on the industry demonstrated a slightly slow recovery due to the changes on consumer’s behaviors and social conditions. People have changed their form of living called New Normal to be able to live with the pandemic, thus the global airlines have started to remodeling or adapting their business plans which are more suitable for the current crisis.

          This article found that to remain the existence of airline business in the recent crisis, the airlines must quickly change their business plans that are more suitable and flexible. The airline should focus on increasing their potentials and efficiency on air freight or cargo services both domestic and international routes. While, the plan should appropriately match both new ways of living: New Normal and Next Normal, emphasizing on the development of modern technology and digital services will enhance the opportunity to increase their revenue, resulting in the existence of their business.
