The development of teachers’ learning management competency model by using Design Thinking process to promote the creative thinking of the students at Tessaban 3 (Banbo) school

This research was to study the basic information and the necessity of the development of the learning activity management, to develop, to trail and to evaluate the effectiveness and lessons learned the teachers’ learning management competency model by using Design Thinking process to promote the creative thinking of the students at Tessaban 3 (Banbo) school. Used research and development method (R&D). The sample group consisted of 48 teachers and 274 students and The target group of Lessons Learned and learning reflection were 22 administrators/teachers/Basic Education Commission/guardians/students. The research tools were the questionnaires, the test forms and the estimation forms. The information used for analyzing was the percent value, the average value, the standard deviation, the dependent t-test and the content analysis.
The results of the study revealed that: 1) According to the analysis of the study of the basic information and the necessity of the development of the learning activity management in order to promote students’ creative process skills, the school should support the students’ creative process skills, the analysis showed that the school should promote students’ creative process skills based on Design Thinking method. 2) The teachers’ learning management competency model by using a Design Thinking process in order to promote students’ creativity was drafted by using the approach of UDBP Model consists of four steps: Understanding (U), Define (D), Brainstorm and Participation (B), and Prototype and Feedback (P). 3) The trial of the model by testing the teachers' knowledge and abilities, it was found that after training the teachers had got higher average scores than before with statistical significance of 0.01. 4) The estimation result of the learning management competency, the students’ behavior, the students’ creativity and the comments of the teachers and the students were of a high level.
