Guidelines for apply the good governance principles to management of stone for the construction industry of Thailand to sustainable development

This research aims to study the principles of good governance in sustainable management of quarrying for the construction industry. This is a qualitative research using Delphi technique 3 rounds. The population in this study was 22 persons with knowledge and experience and entrepreneurs in the quarrying industry in Saraburi Province and the census samples were selected. The research tools were in-depth interview and opinion assessment form. The results of the quality examination of the research tool obtained the IOC value of the questions greater than 0.50 and the alpha coefficient of 0.70 or more. Then, data analysis using 3 rounds of Delphi technique. 1st Round was to assess the opinions of experts. 2nd Round was to assess the appropriateness of the questions using criteria of the median greater than 3.5, the IQR not more than 1.5, and a difference of mode and median not more than 1 and 3rd round, the suitability assessment results were confirmed using a statistical hypothesis test of Kruskal-Wallis one-way ANOVA.
The results showed that the principles of good governance for sustainable management of quarrying for the construction industry consist of 6 areas as 1) Rule of law 19 indicators 2) Morality 9 indicators 3) Transparency 8 indicators 4) Participation 9 indicators 5) Responsibility 12 indicators and 6) Value for money 12 indicators 12 indicators.
