Travel selection of Thai tourists during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

          This article aims to study the travel choices of Thai tourists during the epidemic situation of COVID-19. Quantitative research, the sample consisted of 400 persons living in Thailand during the COVID-19 epidemic situation. The questionnaire was used as a tool to collect and analyze data in Five-A theory study for factors in travel choice leading to travel decision making, repeat travel or referrals to other tourists.

          The results of the study revealed that the travel choices of Thai tourists during the COVID-19 epidemic situation were: 1) tourists chose to travel in the country 2) travel would choose to travel closer to home and Easy to travel by car. 3) It is safe to travel. 4) Choose to travel in a new tourist destination 5) Choose not to travel during this situation.
