Research and development of educational tourism activities and facilities for youth tourists in Kasetsart University Kamphaeng Saen campus

This research is research and development. The objectives are to (1) explore tourist attractions for learning of children and youth within the area of Kasetsart University. Kamphaeng Saen Campus (2) Survey the behaviors and needs for learning tourism of children and youth. (3) Develop activities and facilities for learning tourism of children and youth. Which is mixed-method research using quantitative and qualitative research. The research tool used was interviewed for a criterion-based selection with 12 people of tourist attractions information staff. Use the method of content analysis. A survey of behaviors and needs for learning activities in tourist attractions Collect data using a questionnaire. with a group of youth tourist aged 15-24 years, amounting to 400 people. Purposive sampling was used to analyze the data by using a statistical package program (SPSS) to find the percentage, frequency, mean (mean), then the results were analyzed and summarized in the form of tables and sorts.
The research results concluded that tourist attractions within the university that the youth tourist first known is the Tabebuia Rosea tree Tunnel. The motivation for traveling is outstanding beauty and a unique to tourist attractions. The need for learning tourism activities It was found that the aspect that the youth tourist had the most demand for was tourism attraction. The evaluation of tourist attractions and learning tourism facilities within the University's 5 areas revealed that tourist attractions have the potential to be developed into tourist attractions for learning in all aspects. But there are no activities that clearly attract tourists. And there is no link to each tourist attraction. Tourist attractions still lack important landmarks to take photos. Including route signs and signs indicating tourist attractions that are not obvious.
