Abstract

The research aimed at studying the causal relation between attitude and behavior of affecting work effectiveness of employees in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area, and at examining the consistency of our theorized model on job performance and empirical data. Questionnaires were used to collect data from 300 employees in the Bangkok Metropolitan Area, and descriptive statistics and structural model equation were chosen as tools for data analysis. The study found the direct and positive influence of attitude on behavior and efficiency of job performance, with the coefficient value of directly positive influence at 0.28 and 0.16 resulting in the statistical significance of 0.01. Behavior was also found to have a positive effect on efficiency of job performance, with the coefficient value of directly positive influence at 0.67 resulting in the statistical significance of 0.01. The consistency index resulting from analysis were c2 = 69.78, df = 54, c2/ df = 1.292, p-value = 0.101, RMSEA = 0.029, GFI = 0.97, AGFI = 0.95 indicating the consistency of our theorized model with empirical data.
