Service quality of wellness hotel in Phuket province

The purposes of this research were to study demographic of tourists who stayed in wellness hotels in Phuket and to examine the tourists’ opinion on service quality of wellness hotels in Phuket. This research was a quantitative research and data was collected from 400 tourists through purposive sampling by using questionnaires. Data also analyzed through SPSS. Statistics used included frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The research results found that The majority of the sample who responded to the questionnaire were female (51 percent). Thai nationality (78.3 percent), Age 39 years and over (30.5 percent), The highest level of education is bachelor's degree / vocational certificate (55.3 percent). Most have business occupations. Private (39.8 percent) have a monthly income of more than 40,001 baht.(30.3 percent) The results revealed that tourists’ opinion on service quality of wellness hotels in Phuket was at a high level in 5 areas as follows, accessible hotel location(= 4.44, SD.= 0.64), friendly and smiley face staff (= 4.40, SD.= 0.60), promptly coordination and responsiveness(= 4.35, SD.= 0.61) and 24 hour security system (= 4.48, SD.= 0.56) .
