Abstract

This research aims to study research methods that will lead to discovering practices for Private Sector Organizations to comply with the PDPA law without violating it. It is a qualitative research study consisting of two stages: interviewing a group of 6 key informants who are research instructors and conducting a focus group discussion with 6 Human Resource Managers from 6 companies, with 7 participants from each company, selected through purposive sampling. The research findings reveal that the appropriate social science research method to find practical approaches for Private Sector Organizations to avoid violating the PDPA law is R&D (Research and Development). The rationale is that this method involves discovering, developing, and testing practices before disseminating them for implementation
