The role of local government organization administrative in promoting efficient budget use

Abstract

This article criticizes the role of local government organization administrators in promoting efficient budget use. Based on the statistics of people who had made complaints at the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) involved corruption or negligence by Government agencies, it was found that the local government organization had problems with transparency and compliance with related laws. Corruption in procurement is a very common problem. This causes financial damage to the government. Additionally, the role of external auditing agencies such as the Auditor General of Thailand (OAG) is important in uncovering problems and helping with investigations. Promoting the efficient use of budgets by administrators of local government organizations should therefore focus on creating transparency. Compliance with the law public participation and personnel development training to prevent corruption and strengthen public confidence.
