The development of English vocabulary learning by using English word game for Mathayomsuksa 2 students of Kannasootsuksalai School

The objectives of this research were 1) to compare the Mathayomsuksa 2 students’ achievement of English vocabulary learning before and after by using English word games, and 2) to study the Mathayomsuksa 2 students’ satisfaction with English word game learning of English vocabulary. The target group was 534 Mathayomsuksa 2 students at Kannasootsuksalai School and the sample group consisted of 42 students in the Mathayomsuksa 2/4 obtained by purposive sampling method. The data collection tools included 1) learning management plans using games, 2) a test to measure word learning results, and 3) a satisfaction questionnaire. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test statistics. The results of the research showed that the achievement of learning English vocabulary by using English word games increased significantly at 0.05 and, and overall satisfaction level was the highest level at 4.73 and the standard deviation (S.D.) was 0.46.
