Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the potential of cooperative education students required by the tourism industry according to the Thai Qualification Framework (TQF) in four areas: 1. Knowledge, 2. Skills, 3. Ethics, 4. Personality characteristics. The survey was conducted by collecting data with a questionnaire from a sample of 78 establishments where students of Bangkok Suvarnabhumi University participated in cooperative education training.

The results of the research show that the potential of cooperative education students required by the tourism business according to the qualification standard framework. Higher education, the total image in all 4 aspects is at the highest level (X ̅ =4.49, SD=0.55) Ethics It has the highest average (X ̅=4.55, SD=0.59). It was found that the tourism business paid the most attention to punctuality, followed by knowledge (X ̅= 4.53 , SD=0.61). It was found that the tourism business valued having knowledge and being able to communicate in a foreign language with others the most in terms of personality characteristics (X ̅= 4.47, SD=0.53). It was found that the tourism business was the most important in terms of intention, detail, and prudence in work and skills (X ̅= 4.45, SD=0.47). It was found that the travel business was most concerned about being able to live with others and work as a team, respectively.
