Approaches to address social inequality and sustainable community-based tourism

Abstract

          This study is a mix research which was conducted with the objective 1) to study the opinions on social inequality sustainable community-based tourism 2) to propose guidelines to solve social inequality issues with sustainable community-based tourism which  collecting data with population involved in the tourism community area in each region. Survey questionnaires were collected from 400 which analyze data with statistical descriptive, average, standard deviation, interpretation and for completeness of the contents of this study was to use qualitative research participants by In-Depth Interview to collect data from the sample with population involved in the tourism community area in each region. The results showed that the opinion levels on social inequality and community-based tourism are in the agree level. The resolving poverty and strengthening the community with the highest average. The inequality in unfair practice by state power, and issues with the lowest opinion level is the inequality in reaching the education system and youth development.
