The role of the hospital today needs to be focused on easy-to-access to all people which is fundamental rights (“Right to Health” as easy-to-access, and to give priority to all people inclusively). The preliminary survey of this research found that the density or overcrowding of service users, inappropriate design elements and insufficient service facilities are the main causes affected the accessibility for general users, people with disabilities and a variety of physical limitations such as, the elderly, people with orthopedical conditions, heart disease or pregnancy. Objectives of this research is to study and evaluate the physical environment for improving the efficiency of easy-to-access the public service area of Naresuan University Hospital as a case study. This research base on an Evidence Based Approach (EBA) and evaluate the quality of physical environment (design) by a Comprehensive Post Occupancy Evaluation process (C-POE). Finally, this research offers a design guideline for improving a physical environment and service facilities that is uplifting equal access, convenient and safety for all users.
