Abstract
Nowadays, there are many Frenchmen who are interested to study and practice Buddhism. This study is to find relation between Zen Buddhistmeditation practice in France and Emotional Intelligent Development. We
found that meditation is very beneficial to develop Emotional Intelligence. Participants of this study evaluate the importance of meditation as an activity which develops high or very high level of four groups of Emotional
Intelligence: Self-discovery, Self-control, Understanding the others and Communication with others.
