The Services for Land Registration and Juristic Act of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in Salawan Province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

Abstract

The objectives of the research were to studythe satisfaction of the customers with the services for land registration and juristic act of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in Salawan Province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, and to compare the satisfaction of the customers with the servicesforland registration and juristic act of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment regarding gender, age, educational background and
occupation of the customers. The data were collected by questionnaires from two hundred and fifty three customers who asked for the services forland registration and juristic act of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in Salawan Province in 2017. W.G.cochran formula was used to calculate the sample size and the samples were selected by simple random sampling. The statistics used were the percentage, frequency, mean and standard deviation.
T-test and One Way ANOVA were employed for the study. The research results showed that the average performance efficiency in the services forland registration and juristic act of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in Salawan Province was at a high level.The four high rated items of the servicewere public relations, information environment work place, and service officerrespectively. The findings indicated that the opinion of the customers toward four services for land registration and juristic act of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in Salawan Province regarding the different genders, and occupations was not significantly different at the .05 level. Whereas, the opinion of the customers toward four services for land registration and juristic act of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment regarding the different ages and educational backgrounds was significantly different at the .05 level. Keywords : Services, Land Registration and Juristic Act, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Salawan Province
