Factors Affecting the Performance Efficiency of Personnel of the Government Property Division in the Central Provinces, Lao Peoples’ Democratic Republic

The objectives of the research were 1) to investigate personal data of the personnel of the Government Property Division in the Central Provinces, Lao Peoples’ Democratic Republic, 2) to survey the opinions of the personnel toward the performance efficiency, and 3) to analyze the factors affecting performance efficiency of the government property division personnel. The sample subjects of the study were seventy six personnel of the Government Property Division
consisting of thirteen personnel from Boli Khamsay Province, twenty two personnel from Khammuan Province and forty one personnel from Suwanakhet Province. They were selected by stratified random sampling and simple random sampling. The data were collected from seventy six participants of the Government Property Division by a questionnaire. The descriptive statistics used were the percentage, mean and standard deviation. Multiple regression analysis was employed for the study. The research findings showed that most of the respondents were females (65.80%), they were 31-40 years old (28.90%). Most of them got married (61.90%). They mostly got bachelor degree education or equivalence (64.50%). Most of the participants were government officers (74.70). They mostly got 20,000 baht or less a month (98.70%), and most of them had ten-year or and more-work experience (42.10%). The five factors: emotional intelligence, role conception, knowledge and skills, organizational citizenship and team work skills affected the work performance significantly at the .01 level. The values of the correlation coefficient were 3.270, 2.403, 1.951, 1.916, and 1.690.
