Hab Reh Saneh Mea Ka : The Study of the Way of Life of Hawkers at Hawker Market in Buriram Railway Station.

Abstract

"Hab Reh Saneh Mea Ka" is a drama thesis which studied of the way of life of the hawkers. It was presented in the form of a creative Isaan folk dancing performance. The objective of this research is to study the information about the way of life of hawkers at the railway station in Buriram Province and create Isan folk dancing performance. The sample population used for data collection consisted of villagers, people in the local community and consumers. The research instrument used to collect information are interviews, a record form, and a performance evaluation from experts. The creative Isaan folk dancing performance was reported in a narrative form and dancing performance was video recorded. The results were as follows: The creative "Hab Reh Saneh Mea Ka" Isaan performance contained following phases; 1. performance presentation, 2. costume, 3. procession variation, 4. dance variation, 5. make up, and 6. performance lyric and music composing. The creation is an integration of contemporary western dance posing with the Isan principle dancing poses. Keywords: hawker, lifestyle, hawker market
