การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการจำเป็นในการบริหารโรงเรียนคุณภาพประจำตำบลตามแนวคิดโรงเรียนเป็นชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ โดยใช้กรอบแนวคิดโรงเรียนเป็นชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ ใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงบรรยาย ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ โรงเรียนคุณภาพประจำตำบลตามแนวคิดโรงเรียนเป็นชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ กรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 47 โรงเรียน ผู้ให้ข้อมูล คือ ผู้บริหารโรงเรียน ครูหัวหน้ากลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ นักเรียนที่เป็นคณะกรรมการนักเรียนและผู้ปกครอง จำนวน 188 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถามความต้องการจำเป็นของการบริหารโรงเรียนคุณภาพประจำตำบลตามแนวคิดโรงเรียนเป็นชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์ความต้องการจำเป็น (PNImodified)
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า สภาพปัจจุบันของการบริหารโรงเรียนคุณภาพประจำตำบลตามแนวคิดโรงเรียนเป็นชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก และสภาพที่พึงประสงค์ของการบริหารโรงเรียนคุณภาพประจำตำบลตามแนวคิดโรงเรียนเป็นชุมชนแห่งการเรียนรู้ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด เมื่อวิเคราะห์ความต้องการจำเป็นพบว่า ด้านการประเมินผลมีความต้องการจำเป็นสูงที่สุด (PNImodified = 0.314) รองลงมาคือ ด้านการนำแผนไปสู่การปฏิบัติ (PNImodified = 0.308) และการวางแผน (PNImodified = 0.307) ตามลำดับ
