Current States, Desirable States, and Priority Needs of Developing Higher Education Institutions Management in Thailand According to Internationalization Concept

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ และความต้องการจำเป็นของการพัฒนาการบริหารสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในประเทศไทยตามแนวคิดความเป็นนานาชาติ ดำเนินการวิจัยโดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ ประชากร ได้แก่ สถาบันอุดมศึกษาในกำกับดูแลของกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม จำนวน 155 แห่ง ขนาดของตัวอย่าง 111 แห่ง ใช้การสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้นตามสัดส่วนประเภทสถาบันอุดมศึกษา ผู้ให้ข้อมูล สถาบันละ 2 คน คือ อธิการบดี และผู้บริหารที่มีหน้าที่รับผิดชอบหลักงานด้านความเป็นนานาชาติ เครื่องมือวิจัย คือ แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าดัชนีความต้องการจำเป็น (PNImodified)
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า สภาพปัจจุบันของการบริหารสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในประเทศไทยตามแนวคิดความเป็นนานาชาติ ในภาพรวมการปฏิบัติอยู่ที่ระดับปานกลาง ( = 2.686) โดยการบริหารหลักสูตรมีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงที่สุด ( = 2.707) รองลงมา คือ การบริหารการบริการวิชาการ ( = 2.658) ส่วนสภาพที่พึงประสงค์ในภาพรวมอยู่ที่ระดับมาก ( = 3.933) โดยการบริหารหลักสูตรมีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงที่สุด ( = 3.945) รองลงมาคือ การบริหารการบริการวิชาการ ( = 3.907) ทั้งนี้ ค่าดัชนีความต้องการจำเป็นของการพัฒนาการบริหารสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในภาพรวมคือ 0.464 ในขณะที่ภาพรวมรายด้านนั้น
การบริหารการบริการวิชาการมีค่าสูงที่สุด (PNImodified = 0.470) รองลงมาคือ การบริหารหลักสูตร (PNImodified = 0.458)
