Development of Supervision Model to Promote English Language Learning Management Competency for Communication Among Teachers in Foreign Language Learning Area

The purpose of this research were to develop a supervisory model, to promote competency in English language learning management for communication and to study the results of the use of supervisory model to promote competency in learning English communication. The sample population consisted of 10 teachers in foreign language learning area 151 Grade 6 students in the academic year 2017. The research instruments were an ability assessment questionnaire, an attitude evaluation form, an English for communication skills assessment form and an attitude assessment form for learning English for communication.
The research results indicated that the supervisory model developed under the name “AIPBES” comprised: 1) Analysis of Data; 2) Informing; 3) Planning; 4) Blended Supervision; 5) Evaluation and
6) Share and Cheer up. The results of using the supervisory model showed that teachers had the highest level of cognitive development in English language learning. Teachers had the highest level of organizational English language learning. They had a statistically significant higher attitude towards management of English language learning for communication after receiving supervision at the level of .01. The teachers were satisfied with the supervision at the highest level. The results of the assessment of the English communication skills were at the highest level with the highest attitudes towards learning English for communication.
