A Disability-Specific School Model for Children with Intellectual Disabilities to Create Job Opportunities

The objective of this study is to develop a population management model addressing children with intellectual disabilities with the purpose of facilitating employment possibilities. The three steps are as outlined below: 1) Analyze Current Conditions, Desirable Conditions and Needs; 2) Develop a framework; and 3) Evaluate. The population of school administrators, and instructors in disability-specific school for children with intellectual disabilities consists of 988 individuals. A sample of 359 individuals participated in the seminars, and 7 experts and 25 others were eligible to assess the models. The research employed several tools, such as questionnaires, structured interviews, and data analysis techniques, including averages, standard deviations, an index of importance, and analytical content. The study showed that 1) Current Conditions, Desirable Conditions and Needs to School Administration are Collegial 2) the model is named "Collegial model in the management of schools specifically designed for children with intellectual disabilities to create job opportunities." The model includes the principles, objectives, and elements of school administration specifically for disabled children, with the aim of generating job opportunities. 3) The model is accurate and feasible at a high level.
