The Relationship between Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of Teachers under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1

บทคัดย่อ

The purposes of this research were to study: 1) the job satisfaction of public school teachers 2) to study the organizational commitment of public school teachers and 3) to study the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of public school teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1. The sample in this research were 357 teachers from schools in the secondary educational service area office Bangkok 1 in academic year 2023, which were selected by multi-stage random sampling. The instrument used to collect the data was a 5-rating scale questionnaire total of 72 items. It was found that the index of item-objective congruence (IOC) had
a value between 0.6 and 1.0. The discrimination has a value from 0.5-0.9, and the reliability was 0.993. The statistics used in the data analysis were mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficient.

The research findings were as follows: 1) the overall of job satisfaction of teachers were at high level; 2) the organizational commitment of teachers were at high level and 3) the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of teachers under the secondary educational service area office Bangkok 1 were positively collected at the high level with the significance level of .01.
