The objective of this research was to study the needs for developing academic management of private primary schools based on the concept of new generation leaders. This study was conducted with descriptive research methods, gathering data from a sample group consisting of 338 private primary schools affiliated with the Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC), with a total of 892 informants, including school directors, deputy directors, department heads, and teachers. The research tool used was the current state and desired state questionnaire of academic management of private primary schools based on the concept of new generation leaders, with a confidence coefficient of 0.996. Statistical analysis methods included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Priority Needs Index (PNImodified).
The research findings indicated that the overall needs for developing academic management of private primary schools based on the concept of new generation leaders were 0.031. Analyzing the priority needs index in each aspect revealed that the curriculum development aspect had the highest needs (PNImodified = 0.033), followed by measurement and evaluation (PNImodified = 0.030), and teaching and learning had the lowest needs (PNImodified = 0.029). When considering from the perspective of new-generation leaders, the sub-components with the highest needs for development were managerial excellence and global mindset, while the holistic approach had the lowest needs for development.
