About the Journal

Aims and Scope
The Educational Management and Innovation Journal (EMI Journal) is published by the Division of Educational System Management Leadership, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University. The journal aims to publish high-quality research articles and academic papers from students, scholars, and faculty members of higher education institutions and other educational organizations, both nationally and internationally. The journal focuses on educational management and innovation, covering formal education, non-formal education, and informal education at all levels and across all types of education, including basic education, vocational education, and higher education.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
1. Educational system management
2. School administration
3. Educational organization management
4. Academic administration, curriculum, learning management, and educational measurement and evaluation
5. Educational quality assurance and management
6. Educational human resource management and development
7. Budget administration
8. Educational resource management and learning ecosystem management
9. Educational policy
10. Educational leadership
11. Educational innovation
Publication Frequency
The Educational Management and Innovation Journal (EMI Journal) is published three issues per year:
Issue 1: January – April
Issue 2: May – August
Issue 3: September – December
Each issue publishes approximately 8–10 articles.
Types of Articles Accepted
1.The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
1.1 Research Articles
1.2 Academic Articles
1.3 Review Articles (Literature Reviews)
2. Manuscripts must not exceed 15 A4 pages (Microsoft Word format), including abstract, figures, tables, and references.
Manuscript Submission
1. Authors must submit the following documents through the TCI-Thaijo online system: Manuscript file, Image files (if applicable), Turnitin plagiarism report with a similarity index not exceeding 20%
2. All manuscripts must strictly follow the journal’s formatting guidelines.
3. The editorial board reserves the right to reject manuscripts that are not submitted via the TCI-Thaijo system or do not comply with the journal’s formatting requirements.
4. Upon submission, the Editor will conduct an initial screening and notify the author under the section “Pre-Review Discussion.”

Manuscript Review Process
Article Evaluation
All submitted manuscripts must undergo a double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two qualified reviewers in relevant fields, both internal and external to the university. The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from one another.
Acceptance or Rejection
A manuscript that receives evaluation results of Accept or Accept with Minor Revision from at least two reviewers will be eligible for publication in the Educational Management and Innovation Journal. If a manuscript receives Accept with Major Revision or conflicting recommendations, the Editor reserves the final authority to make the decision after further consideration. Manuscripts receiving a Reject decision will not be considered for publication.
Authors must revise their manuscripts according to the recommendations of reviewers and editors. If the author disagrees with the reviewers’ comments, they may provide clarification for further editorial consideration. The Editor’s decision is final.
Publication
After revision in accordance with reviewers’ and editors’ recommendations, the manuscript will undergo final formatting, language editing, and proofreading before publication The Editor will send the final version to the author for confirmation and verification of accuracy prior to publication. All articles are published exclusively in an online format (e-Journal). The order of publication is determined by the Editor.
Letter of Acceptance
Once a manuscript is officially accepted, the Educational Management and Innovation Journal will issue a Letter of Acceptance to the corresponding author. The letter will not specify the issue or publication date, in accordance with international standards.
Article Processing Charges
The journal does not charge any publication fees.
