A Needs Assessment of Developing Academic Management of Secondary Schools under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office of Samut Prakan Based on The Concept of Valuable Life Designer

The objectives of this research were to study the needs assessment of developing academic management of secondary schools under the secondary educational service area office of Samut Prakan based on the concept of valuable life designer. This study was conducted with descriptive methods. The population was 25 secondary schools under the secondary educational service area office of Samut Prakan. There were 326 informants, including school directors, deputy directors, department heads, and teachers. The research instruments were the needs assessment questionnaires of developing academic management of secondary schools under the secondary educational service area office of Samut Prakan based on the concept of valuable life designer, and the reliability is 0.978. The data were analyzed by frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and PNImodified.
The results show that the priority need index overall was 0.378 (PNImodified = 0.378). When analyzed per item, instruction was the highest priority need (PNImodified = 0.385) and curriculum development (PNImodified = 0.377) was the second priority need. The lowest priority need was assessment (PNImodified = 0.371). When considering in terms of the valuable life designer, the sub-item, which has the highest priority needs index in three aspects of academic management is planning the path professionally for leading to do what you love (Profession).
