Developing a Cooperation Mechanism in Competency-Based Education at the Basic Education Level of Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study and develop cooperation mechanisms for competency-based education management in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Phase 1: study and development of cooperation mechanisms, Phase 2: trials of cooperation mechanisms, and Phase 3: expanding the use of cooperation mechanisms. The results showed that: 1. Mechanisms for cooperation in education management, consisting of leadership development, development of management mindset, participation development, curriculum development, teacher development, and student development. 2. Systematic innovation development consisting of self-knowledge, self-discipline, a curious person as a consultant to teachers, study visits, acceptance, formulate personnel development policies for professional advancement, create a learning culture, give constructive feedback, encourage personnel to try new things, admit mistakes and share what you learn, see every failure as a valuable lesson, make an administrative plan in conjunction with the school committee, parent orientation, watch out for the problems of vulnerable children, develop learning skills, education change tracking, develop a curriculum that is consistent with the changes, the community participates in the development of the local curriculum, supervision to continuously monitor the use of the curriculum, exchanging knowledge with professional peers, help teachers individually, build networks with higher education institutions, develop attitudes, skills and knowledge, and encourage teachers to develop their professions. 3. The use of systematic innovation in network schools overall and in each aspect was at the highest level.
