The Policy Framework for the Structural Management and Process for a Good Standard of Living for Aging People in Thailand

The study on the policy framework for the structural management and process for a good standard of living for aging people in Thailand aims to study strategies on Thai aging people and to explore essential key issues which are necessary to promote a good standard of living for people in Thailand. The methodologies used in this study is qualitative research and a mixed-mode of data collection including in-depth interviews, group interviews, and documentary research. The recommendations from this study led to a policy framework on structural and process management to enhance the living standards of aging people. This policy framework includes support for aging people from all involved sectors. The importance of aging peoples’ vulnerability and its risks must be taken into account. It could be categorized as a risk or problem that could be protected by aging people themselves or their families with the implementation of strategies to manage aging people’s standard of living by employing systems, including community and government policies.
