Publication Ethics

Duties of Editors
       1. Editors specify the procedures for preparing original manuscripts and other necessary details that authors must adhere to. Allow interested authors to submit their articles for publication and inform the general public.
       2. Publication fee collection, manuscript management fee, or any other expenses from the author must be clearly announced to those who are interested in submitting manuscripts for publication and to the general public.
       3. There must be processes in place to check for both duplication and plagiarism.
       4. The quality assessment must be conducted through a peer review process that is unbiased and prompt, involving three (3) anonymous reviewers.
       5. Editors must not disclose any information about article authors and reviewers to unrelated parties during the article evaluation process, and must not disclose the content or information in the article while it has not yet been published.
       6. The selection of articles for publication must be based on the quality of the articles and should not prioritize the benefits of the authors or the journal without considering the results of the article's quality assessment by the reviewers.
       7. Editors do not refuse to publish a manuscript solely based on suspicion of a conflict of publication ethics. There must be a process of investigation, including seeking clarification from the author, before rejecting the article.
       8. Editors do not participate in the decision-making process to select articles in which they are the authors or have any related interests.
       9. Editors do not request citations of any work to artificially increase the number of citations or impact factor of the journal, nor to boost the citations of their own or their peers' work.
       10. There must be a system of appeal about the decisions of the editorial team and articles published in the journal.
       11. There must be a system for correcting serious errors in articles and for retracting articles found to violate research ethics. Editors do not ignore or neglect errors and unethical research conduct related to articles published in the journal.

Duties of Reviewers
       1. Reviewers must protect confidentiality of a paper sent for consideration to uninvolved parties during the evaluation process.
       2. Reviewers must not evaluate a paper on the basis of their subjective opinions without justifiable evidence as criteria for judging the paper.
       3. Reviewers must not suggest that authors cite any works with the intention of increasing the number of citations of their own or their peers' works, and they must submit the evaluation results on time.
       4. After receiving a paper from the editors, should reviewers realize that they have a conflict of interest with the authors, they should inform the editors and decline to evaluate such a paper.
       5. Should reviewers detect any ethical violations during the evaluation process, such as plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or data manipulation, they should report them to the editors.

Duties of Authors
       1. Authors must certify that their manuscript is their original work and has not been previously published elsewhere.
       2. The manuscript submitted for consideration for publication must not contain any part that constitutes plagiarism of one's own or others' academic work. The manuscript must be properly and completely referenced.
       3. Authors must report the research work honestly without any fabrication, falsification or data manipulation.
       4. Authors must strictly adhere to the ethics of authorship, ensuring that all individuals listed as authors in the article have made significant contributions to the research. Authors must not ignore or omit the names of those who have played an important role in conducting the research.
       5. If there are multiple authors, all of them must approve the manuscript and its submission for consideration for publication by the journal.
