Strategic Planning for World Heritage Conservation and Development of Ayutthaya Project

This article aimed to study implementation and operational framework and strategic drafting on the Ayutthaya World Heritage conservation and development. The research results showed the followings: 1) As for the implementation and operational framework on the Ayutthaya World Heritage conservation and development, the researcher found that The Fine Arts Department most considerably wanted to develop the following issues in the Thailand 4.0: The Fine Arts Department wanted to efficiently manage the historical park and reduce the risk of being withdrawn from being the world heritage. The plans and projects of The Fine Arts Department were able to develop the management on the cultural and historical tourism in the Thailand 4.0. 2) The results of the strategic drafting found that the vision of the Ayutthaya World Heritage was to sustainably create the values of the Ayutthaya World Heritage. There were five strategies as follows: 1) developing the potential for the archaeological management and conservation of the ancient places of the Ayutthaya World Heritage, 2) strengthening The Civilian Network for Ayutthaya World Heritage Conservation, 3) enhancing the image and proactively disseminating the information on the Ayutthaya World Heritage, 4) developing the management system to reduce the disaster risk of the Ayutthaya World Heritage, and 5) developing the organizational management system to stimulate the Ayutthaya World Heritage conservation and development.
