Community ‘s Research Process for Developing Potentials and Networks in Khorum Community, Phichai District, Uttaradit

This research aimed to study the research process of the community of Kho Rumsub district, Phichai District, Uttaradit Province to improve capabilities and connections. Several theories in creating concepts and research theory of community capabilities are used. Participatory action research is also used to create learning community, capability resources and sustainable development. There are 3 phases of operation, preparation phase: Goal establishing, operation phase: creating system to build learning community and post research phase: Follow up the result of community research process. Because this research is a participatory action research, the participants of the research resemble the “research team”. The people involved are interested to join the research team. Which consisted of 104 members, 19 in the main team and 85 in the field team. The research found that from the 3 main steps which are research, capacity building and practice, are were derived from the work of the mainstays, public organizations and government organizations,(both inside and outside). That is to create awareness of the circumstances, structure, capability resources and connections and understanding of continuous problem management leading to “changing management” of the community to improve the capabilities and connections of Kho Rumsub district, Phichai District, Uttaradit Province.
