The Synthesis of the Corporate-Entrepreneurship Component Variables of Rubber-Wood Businesses in Thailand

The objective of this research was to synthesize the corporate-entrepreneurship component variables of rubber-wood businesses in Thailand. Qualitative research method was used in this study. Data were collected from many sources of information including textbooks, publishing documents, related research studies, internet searching and small group discussion among 25 professionals and in-depth interviews with 10 entrepreneurs in rubber-wood business. Variables of the corporate entrepreneurship component were synthesized to develop research conceptual-framework of rubber-wood business in Thailand. The research findings revealed that there were 6 components including (1) Management support for entrepreneurship and risk taking, (2) Work discretion or autonomy, (3) Rewards and reinforcement, (4) Innovativeness, (5) Market orientation, and (6) Competitive aggressiveness. From the research findings, it would suggested that these component variables of corporate entrepreneurship should be further tested for the validity with empirical data from the samples of entrepreneur in rubber-wood business in Thailand.
