A Development of Personnel’s Potentials Based on National Single Window System of Wangtao International Border, Champasak Province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic

The purposes of this research were: (1) to analyze factors affecting to personnel’s potentials; (2) to design a model of a development of personnel’s potentials; and (3) to implement and evaluate the model. This research used a mixed research methodology. The research findings indicated that: 1) Factors affecting to personnel’s potentials on National Single Window system of Wangtao international border, Champasak Province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic consisted of characteristics attributes, skills, and knowledge. 2) A model of a development of personnel’s potentials based on National Single Window system consisted of fifteen activities for characteristics attributes, skills, and knowledge: brainstorming, a tree of ideas, a teamwork, roles and duties, service mind, good communication, a work based training, tools and guidebooks, a job skills assessment, 5 S activities, a role play, a study visit, a NSW guidebook, one by one learning, and NSW knowledge. 3) Personnel’s potentials on National Single Window system of Wangtao international border, Champasak Province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic after implementing the model were better than that of before implementing the model. The characteristic attributes, skills, and knowledge were different at the .05 level of statistical significance.
