แนวคิดทางสังคมเรื่องอาชีพจากมุมมองเรื่องวรรณะในศาสนาฮินดู

บทคัดย่อ

This article aims to discuss the social concept of occupation Social Caste System (Varna) in Hinduism and explain this concept in relation to organization’s administrative management in Indian society.  The findings suggest that the caste system is considered as Aryan people’s social identity that has influenced their culture until the present.  The caste system includes marriage, food, accommodation and occupation leading to the unity of command and hierarchy, which have been transcended until the present.

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาแนวคิดทางสังคมเรื่องอาชีพจากมุมมองเรื่องวรรณะในศาสนาฮินดู และ2)เพื่ออธิบายแนวความคิดการบริหารจัดการในองค์กรทางสังคมของอินเดียจากเรื่องอาชีพ ซึ่งพบว่าระบบวรรณะเป็นอัตลักษณ์ของสังคมชาวอารยันซึ่งมีอิทธิพลมาถึงปัจจุบันอันประกอบด้วยเรื่องการแต่งงาน อาหารการกิน เคหสถานที่อยู่และอาชีพ อัตลักษณ์ทั้งสี่ประการมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้เกิดเอกภาพในการบังคับบัญชา (Unity of Command) และเป็นลำดับชั้นการบังคับบัญชา(Hierarchy)ที่ถูกสืบทอดส่งต่อกันมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน
