Abstract
The series of creative research: The Color of Time, have the objectives to convey the story about the changing of coffee bean color through each period from green color to yellow color, orange color, red color until ripening as intense red color, the growth of plentiful coffee bean was brought as the inspiration to create. From the studying through the academic, theory with concern the art also the investigating through the work from the pass that bring in the pattern, the technique and the concept as the specification subject with the creation steps consists of the color, the time and the Arabica coffee, the investigation story had presented with the realistic through the visual elements (dot, line, shape, texture, value and shade and shadow), the oil painting technique.
