Light and Colors in the Lanna Culture

Abstract

The research entitled Lights and Colors in the Lanna Culture is a painting creation which its concept and inspiration derived from beauty and charm of lights and colors at night takeing place within the Salakyom festival at Wat Phra That Hariphunchai Woramahawihan, Lamphun Province. The researcher took it as inspiration to create art works through the semi-abstract painting style using the theory of color to transmitting story, and colors of the festival in order to enhance self-development for works of art creation in the future, and benefit those interested in further art study.
