MIXED TECHNIQUE PAINTING : APSORNSARAN

Abstract

The research aimed to examine the story of the Apsorn angel in order to create a mixed-technique painting conveying enjoyment and pleasure and to create dimensions inspired by the shapes and dance postures of the Apsorn angel. The Apsorn or Apsara angel is a celestial character from Indian mythology discovered in an ancient stone castle and may also have a connection to faith and belief. Therefore, the story of the Apsorn angel was employed to create a painting of dancing with the rhythmic movement of the lines, the complexity of shapes, forms, values, and dimensions, as well as the integration of the creative style of cubism art emphasizing the beauty of geometric shapes into the creation of the "Apsornsaran" mixed-technique painting.
