The Study of Knowledge Management Status of Teacher of the Demonstration School of Ramkhamhaeng University

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to 1) study the status of knowledge management of teacher in the Demonstration of Ramkhamhaeng University 2) Compare the teacher’s opinion in the Demonstration of Ramkhamhaeng University to the status of knowledge management of teacher in the demonstration of Ramkhamhaeng University based on sex age education level and teaching experience and 3) study the suggestions about knowledge management of teacher in the Demonstration of Ramkhamhaeng University. The sample group is 108 teachers from the Demonstration of Ramkhamhaeng University in 2015. The material in this research was the 55 questionnaires about the status of knowledge management of teacher in the Demonstration of Ramkhamhaeng University which is 5 rating scale. The reliability of this questionnaire was 0.95. The frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and One-Way Analysis of Variance are the statistic used in this research. When finding found statistical difference at level .05 will be compared by Scheffe’s method.


The findings revealed as follow:


  1. The teachers’ opinions of the Demonstration of Ramkhamhaeng University to the status of knowledge management about the component for knowledge management were generally appropriate. After examining in 4 fields, the teachers expressed their optimal opinions regarding the composition of knowledge management in every single side; individual, organization, learning, and technology while the image of knowledge management process had been received an excellent level as well. As considering in 7 knowledge sections, the teacher had a good level in teacher’s knowledge management such as access, learning, study intensively, sharing and exchange, processing and selecting out, finding and creation, and systemization.

  2. The result of teachers’ opinions comparison regarding knowledge management

2.1 There is no difference in over all images or details of the compositions of knowledge management despite many levels of age, genders, education, and teaching experiences.


2.2 The result of teachers’ opinions comparison regarding the process of knowledge management was found that the point of views are not different despite many ages, genders, and education levels. But it was different for those who had much experiences in teaching by statistical significance at .05 in finding and creating knowledge only, no difference in the other section


  1. The result of suggestion about knowledge management of teacher the Demonstration of Ramkhamhaeng University can be divided as follow:

         The teacher’s knowledge is defined new things for sharing in each group. The learning curve is clear. However, allows all teachers to seek new knowledge is systematic. The role of teacher should have data information technology for supporting with fast and convenience. Moreover, the data information should be review language with easy to understand. That should be same standard for the whole organization. For teacher website has developed always to help teachers to access can find out data resource for convenience. Furthermore, should be creating Web Board to Share and exchange knowledge in each other. Lastly, teacher site should be creating network system to share and exchange knowledge or arrange the activities to join group of the Demonstration of Ramkhamhaeng University. Other side, we can set up training teacher program to encourage and actual performance. And so that should build a culture and promote learning more.
