Factors Affecting the Decision to Join of in Motorsport Event: Competition Entry of Bangsaen Thailand Speed Festival in Chonburi

Abstract
This research aims to study the factors that influence the decision to join the race car in race entries Bangsaen Thailand Speed Festival Chonburi. The sample used in this research. Sport tourists are traveling to join the race car in race entries Bangsaen Thailand Speed Festival 2015 in Chonburi. The samples used in this research were sport tourists who came to join the motorsport event: Competition entry of Bangsaen Thailand Speed Festival 2015, Chonburi with a total of 400 people. This study was a quantitative research. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire which was examined the reliability by computing the alpha coefficient (Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient) amount 0.92. The statistics used in this study were average, percentage, frequency and standard deviation. The hypotheses were examined to make a comparison using the F-test and t-test statistics and One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA)
The finding in the study indicates that:
- 1. Sport tourists who went to join the race car in race entries Bangsaen Thailand Speed Festival Chonburi. Most are male, aged 18-25 years old, single education at undergraduate level. Self-employed Revenue at 10001-15000 baht and most tourists from the region.
- 2. Results of the decisions that affect the decision to join the race car in race entries Bangsaen Thailand Speed Festival Chonburi. Found that the appeals as a whole at a high level. Most of the decision to focus on the areas for competition are other attractions. Nearby tourist attractions can be easily possible. Factors access to surfing as a whole at a high level. Most of the decisions with the ability to access the most versatile event space. Factor in overall tourism activity at the highest level. Most of the decisions on the race cars with a variety of audiences, such as the Super Car Thailand. Generation super first class, and at the highest level. Factors in the overall level. Most of the decisions to stay in the area for many types of activities to meet the needs of tourists, such as hotel rooms, the daily high. Factors facility as a whole is at the highest level. Most of the decision to focus on business services, transportation services, such as quality rental bicycles. Most motorcycle etc.
- 3. The comparison of factors affecting the decision to join the race car in race entries Bangsaen Thailand Speed Festival offense by sex, age, marital status, education, occupation, income and domicile were tourists. sports, sex, marital status, educational level. No difference The overall difference was statistically significant at the 0.05 level by age, occupation, income and domicile in the overall difference was statistically significant at the .001 level.
