The Development of Accelerated Learning System to Enhance Motivation in Business English Learning for Undergraduate Students

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to 1) develop accelerated learning system to enhance motivation in Business English learning for undergraduate students; and 2) assess the accelerated learning system to enhance motivation in Business English learning for undergraduate students. The research was conducted through content analysis of electronic-database documents on 1) learning system 2) current situations and problem of Business English instruction for undergraduate students 3) quality of accelerated learning 4) motivation 5) peer-teaching learning 6) instruction of Business English. The data were collected from ten experts in teaching Business English using and 34 students in General Management, Faculty of Management Science, Songkhla Rajaphat University.
The results of the study revealed that:(1)accelerated learning system for motivating Business English for undergraduate students consists of components: 1) input; administrators, lecturers, students, academic atmosphere, resources and materials, lesson plan, ways of teaching, and the graduate users 2) instruction process; learning principles, and objectives, step of learning, academic atmosphere and teaching element and assess before and after experiment 3) output: the learners develop their Business English language learning achievement with emphasis on speaking and writing skills and increased their motivation. 4) feedback: feedback data is derived from inputs, processes, and outcomes used in the improvement to correct the teaching system.
(2) Assessing of accelerated learning system to enhance motivation in Business English learning for undergraduate programs.
The results of the study indicate that:
- The learning Business English achievement using accelerated learning system to enhance motivation in Business English learning for undergraduate programs of the experimental group before and after the experiment was significantly different at the .05 level.
- The motivation of learner using accelerated learning system to enhance motivation in Business English learning for undergraduate programs of the experimental group before and after the experiment was significantly different at the .05 level.
- The satisfaction of learner using accelerated learning system to enhance motivation in Business English learning for undergraduate programs of the experimental group after the experiment was the highest score.
