The Competitive Advantage Creation of Exhibitions in Bangkok to Enhance the Potential Competitiveness in the Global Arena

Abstract

This research objectives are promote the exhibitions in Bangkok to International Standards, to create advantages of exhibitions in Bangkok; and to increase competitiveness in the Global Arena. The in-depth interviews were held with 22 entrepreneurs and supporters of exhibitions in Thailand. The results found that 1) Creating an advantage of exhibitions in Bangkok to enhance the competitiveness in the Global Arena will be a factor that encourages the entrepreneurs to organize more exhibitions in Thailand and 2) It is able to promote exhibitions in Bangkok and have international standards to compete in the Global Arena. It managed infrastructure facilities and attractions for attracting international exhibitors and visitors. Creating an advantage of exhibitions in Bangkok to increase the competitiveness in the Global Arena: accessibilities, ancillary, activities, accommodation and attractions. 3) To strengthen the exhibitions and increase potential economic balance. The researcher found in the study of potentials of exhibitions that they need: amenities, amiabilities and authorities to remain in exhibitions in Bangkok with the potential to compete with the leading countries of the global arena completely.
