Policy Proposals for Strengthening in An Anti-corruption by Activities and Buddhist Principles in Chiang Mai Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) study the process of strengthening anti-corruption. by using activities and Buddhist principles 2) synthesize the process of strengthening 3) prepare policy proposals for strengthening. This is qualitative research. The tool used are questionnaire, the interview form and focus group discussion. The sample group was Personnel from all 4 educational institutions 20 persons, mixed sampling method, qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis.

The results of this research found that:

1. the process of strengthening the anti-corruption by activities and Buddhist principles found that organizing a participatory Buddhist learning process, application of Dhamma principles in daily life such as Brahmavihàra 4, the four noble truths, and Saïgahavatthu 4, Gharàvàsa-dhamma 4, the Principle of Santuṭṭha, and the principles of good faith, resulting in the faculty, staff, personnel unity have more honesty, faith, and love in the institution.
2. The Synthesis of the process for strengthening in an anti-corruption found that There are communication barriers in the organization. A body of knowledge; 1) A participatory Buddhist learning process 2) A knowledge management, administrators can apply knowledge from learning the Dhamma principles to develop it into a system.
3. Preparation of policy proposals for strengthening anti-corruption. There are 2 suggestions. 1) Bringing strengthening activities and Dharma principles into Buddhist education organizations to strengthen anti-corruption by using activities and Buddhist principles into educational institution organizations 2) Developing a curriculum for strengthening in an anti-corruption by activities and Buddhist principles, it was compatible with the Curriculum, to the course of teaching for future curriculum development, and corresponds to the changing situation of the world in the 21st Century.
