Buddhist Integration to Promote the Role of Politicians in Preserving Local Wisdom Pa Hung Sub-district Phan District Chiang Rai Province

Abstract

This research article aimed to: 1) study the level of the role of politicians in the preservation of local wisdom 2) compare the role of politicians in the preservation of local wisdom by classifying personal factors 3) present Buddhist integration to promote the role of local politicians in the preservation of local wisdom according to the principles of secular dharma 4 is an integrated research consisting of quantitative research, including population in Pa Hung sub-district. A total of 2,603 people, 347 samples from Taro Yamane's formula. The tools used to collect data include questionnaires, data analysis with descriptive statistics, including frequency values, percentages, means, standard deviations, hypothesis tests by t-test, F-test, and qualitative research. The interview form was used as a tool to collect data from a total of 12 groups of important informants or people and analyzed the data by descriptive.

The research found that:

1. The level of role of politicians in preserving local wisdom in Pa Hung sub-district in the 6 sides of the picture, the overall average is very high.
2. Compare the role of politicians in maintaining wisdom from populations with different personal factors, including gender, age, and occupation. There is no difference in opinion about the level of role of politicians, so it is a rejection of established assumptions. The level of education has the effect of differentiating the role of politicians in the preservation of local wisdom, thus accepting established assumptions.
3. Integrate the principles to promote the role of politicians in preserving local wisdom according to the 4 secular principles, namely honesty and sincerity in words. the ability to intimidate and self-control; Patience in the work of preserving local wisdom, which takes a long time and sacrifice in promoting the conservation of local wisdom, makes the conservation, restoration, transmission and development of local wisdom carried out with quality. It has legitimacy and long-term sustainability.
